Job Summary:
BTS Software Solutions is seeking a Cryptologic Computer Scientist to perform data and computer science analysis in support of customer operations. The role requires leveraging computer science expertise to solve mission problem sets and involves participation in cross-Agency working groups.
Responsibilities:
• perform data and computer science analysis in support of customer operations
• leverage computer science expertise and tradecraft to solve mission problem sets
• expertise with operation systems, compiler theory, database theory, algorithm analysis, computer architecture, discrete math, programming language theory, and data structures
• relevant experience in computer systems research, modeling/simulation development and prototyping, software design, programming, computational science, reverse engineering, and designing/developing computer or information systems, including hardware and/or software
• comfortable participating in cross-Agency working groups, JDA, field assignments and external customer support
• excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across multiple mission teams
Qualifications:
Required:
• Degree must be in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field with at least one programming and at least 4 upper-level math classes (Calculus and above)
• Must be able to leverage computer science expertise and tradecraft to solve mission problem sets.
• Expertise with operation systems, compiler theory, database theory, algorithm analysis, computer architecture, discrete math, programming language theory, and data structures.
• Relevant experience in computer systems research, modeling/simulation development and prototyping, software design, programming, computational science, reverse engineering, and designing/developing computer or information systems, including hardware and/or software.
• Comfortable participating in cross-Agency working groups, JDA, field assignments and external customer support
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across multiple mission teams.
• Entry level positions require an Associate's degree plus 4 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant experience.
• Higher positions require up to and including an Associate's degree plus 13 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree and 11 years of relevant experience OR a Master's Degree and 9 years of relevant experience.
• Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with Poly
