Position Title: ServiceNow Business Analyst
Position Location: This position is currently onsite at the Arlington VA State Department campus. Candidates must reside in the DMV area to be considered.
Daily Responsibilities:
  • Create epics, user stories with acceptance and testing criteria
  • Participate in the development of functional business requirements and help stakeholders assess relative priorities for both business process and technology solutions.
  • Evaluate alternative business processes and technology solutions and participate in making technology recommendations to enhance business operations.
  • Develop business and system requirements, functional designs, process flows, and test plans.
  • Analyze and document business processes and systems
  • Facilitate requirements gathering
  • Prepare client facing and internal deliverables that are technology related
  • Interface with the application development team

Required Years of Experience (min):
  • At least four years of experience of eliciting requirements and conducting business process reviews and documentation while applying detailed knowledge of ServiceNow

Required Degree/Certifications:
  • BS/BA degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related IT discipline
  • Additional four years of related professional experience can be substituted for a BS/BA degree

Required Experience:
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strong on-site and remote team and client relationships
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including presentation skills
  • Experience in the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes including client requirement analysis and system design
  • Experience implementing systems using the Agile methodology

Preferred Certifications:
  • ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator (CSA)
  • ServiceNow CIS IT Service Management or other similar ServiceNow certification
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Agile SAFe, Scrum Master, or ITIL v3 certification

Required Clearance:
  • Public Trust; this position requires the ability to secure a security clearance of secret level, if needed

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $115k - $130k
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
