Location: Harrisburg, PA
Pay: $22.50/hour
Schedule: Sunday-Tuesday and every other Wednesday, 7:00 PM-7:00 AM

Position Overview

We are hiring a Computer Operator I to support IT operations in a fast-paced technology environment. This role is responsible for monitoring systems, following daily operational procedures, documenting issues, escalating problems, and supporting the Computer Operations team.

This is a strong opportunity for someone with an IT background, recent technical education, help desk experience, networking coursework, or early computer operations experience who is looking to gain hands-on experience and grow in the IT field.


Schedule

This position will work 12-hour overnight shifts.

The schedule is:

Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday
7:00 PM-7:00 AM

Candidates must be comfortable working overnight shifts, weekends, and a rotating Wednesday schedule.


Responsibilities

  • Monitor enterprise systems and escalate issues as required.
  • Assist with daily computer operations.
  • Complete daily checklist tasks under supervision.
  • Report system problems to the Senior Computer Operator or Supervisor.
  • Track and document issues using a ticketing or tracking system.
  • Assist with recovery activities needed to restore normal operations.
  • Follow proper escalation procedures within Computer Operations and related departments.
  • Provide support to senior computer operators as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


Requirements

  • Two-year technical degree or comparable IT experience preferred.
  • 12 to 24 months of computer operations, help desk, technical support, IT support, or related experience preferred.
  • Ability to work 12-hour overnight shifts.
  • Comfortable working Sunday-Tuesday and every other Wednesday, 7:00 PM-7:00 AM.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
  • Ability to follow procedures and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Must pass a criminal background check.
  • Must pass an FBI-level background check to obtain a Gaming License.
  • Must be able to complete required licensing as needed.
