Computer Operator I

Location: Harrisburg, PA
Pay: $22.50/hour
Schedule: 12-hour shifts
Employment Type: Full-time, Onsite
Our client in Harrisburg, PA is seeking a Computer Operator I to support daily computer operations and monitor enterprise infrastructure. This role is responsible for following daily operational checklists, documenting issues, escalating problems, and assisting with recovery activities when needed.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with the daily operation of computer systems.
  • Monitor enterprise infrastructure and escalate issues as required.
  • Complete tasks on the daily checklist under supervision.
  • Report system problems to the Senior Computer Operator or Supervisor.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and take appropriate follow-up action under supervision.
  • Assist with recovery activities needed to restore normal operations.
  • Follow proper escalation procedures across Computer Operations and dependent departments.
  • Support senior computer operators as needed.
  • Track and document issues using a ticketing or tracking system.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Two-year technical college degree or comparable experience.
  • 12 to 24 months of computer operations experience.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
  • Must pass a criminal history background check.
  • Must pass an FBI-level background check to obtain a Gaming License.
