Part Time Computer Technician (.6 Position Part Time) ~ 2026-2027 School Year
Location: Washington Township Schools
Start Date: July 1, 2026
Qualifications:
  • College degree, technical degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must be able to stand, walk, reach, bend and occasionally lift between 10 and 50 pounds

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assembles, installs, maintains, and configures district computer hardware and software, including desktops, laptops, iPads, Chromebooks, printers, and other technology equipment.
  • Diagnoses and repairs hardware, operating systems, software, and connectivity issues for district technology devices.
  • Provides technical support for administration, staff, teachers, and students through the district's Help Desk and Ticketing system, ensuring timely problem resolution.
  • Supports district technology services such as email, Google Workspace, Student Information Systems (SIS), Cisco IP phones, Active Directory, and other software systems.
  • Assists with maintaining the district's technology network, including network cabling, switches, access points and other network devices.
  • Creates and updates network user accounts.
  • Sets priorities, plans and meets deadlines while working independently or as part of a team.
  • Performs any other tasks or projects as assigned by the Technology Coordinator and/or designee.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace and Windows operating systems.
  • Travel between buildings.
