Job Description

Internal Job Title: Production Operator
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Location: Albany, NY
Work Model: On-site

Shift: Evening Shift - Monday to Friday, 3.15 pm to 11.45 pm

Starting Wage: $18.25/hour + 1.50/hr shift differential pay

Position Summary   

As a Production Operator at CBN Secure Technologies Inc., you will be responsible for operating various types of machines and equipment that are used to produce various secure polycarbonate documents like NY State Driver Licenses and Identification cards. The work occurs in a temperature controlled, clean-room environment.

Responsibilities  

  • Operate laser engravers, automated inspection equipment, and insertion machines.
  • Troubleshoot minor equipment malfunctions.
  • Ensure adequate supply of consumables for production runs.
  • Verify inventory lot counts.
  • Perform data entry and maintain daily production logs.
Qualifications
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or other high-paced environment is an asset
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to work on your feet for prolonged periods
  • Ability to pass a CBN STI background check
