Hexcel is currently seeking a NC Operator 1 for our Pottsville, PA, USA location.

The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:

  • Operate all NC machines, including Thermwoods

  • Support all NC's by performing the final inspection of parts

  • Loading/unloading parts and tools and part preparation

  • Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment

  • Maintain an accurate E-log, 5-S, and housekeeping to customer requirement

  • Individuals could be asked to operate different machines on their shift

  • Department or area specific expectations will be further defined by supervisor/manage.

  • Individual will support team efforts and product process by performing any operation or tasks deemed necessary by customer requirements, team consensus, and/or supervisor/manager

  • Works in a team environment to reach consensus decisions within the guidelines and boundaries established by the company, and maintains constructive relationships with co-workers

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent

  • Minimum of six months experience required, preferably in manufacturing

  • Basic working knowledge of computer data entry function preferred

  • Must be able to maintain a quality delegate stamp or attain and retain a quality delegate stamp

  • Must follow all safety guidelines

  • Must be a capable forklift operator

  • Familiar with PC computer systems

  • Possess good organizational and administrative skills

  • Able to develop audit reports and write non-conforming records as required
