Job description

VEKA Inc. is a proud member of the family-owned global VEKA Group and the world's largest extruder of vinyl for the window and door industry. We have four US locations with over 800 employees.
CAD OPERATOR:
Uses CAD software to modify, cut, and paste various mechanical drawings for Extrusion tooling and machinery components.
Duties and Responsibilities:-
  • Utilizes CAD Software to create & maintain various die and mechanical drawings.
  • Utilizes CAD Software to review & revise various die and mechanical drawings.
  • Maintain tooling system charts and assemblies
  • Provides interdepartmental support.
  • Supports designers and engineers.
  • Draw and detail go-gauge drawings
  • Support Fine Tuning and Tooling Maintenance Departments
  • Responsible for file maintenance.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Skills:
  • Proficient in the use of Desktop Inventor and AutoCAD, Excel & Word software.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good documentation skills
  • Ability to work in cross functional environment
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities, results driven and self-motivated
