What you'll do with "Our Training and Your Experience" Work with the customer provided AutoCAD/REVIT files to prepare security systems installation drawings to meet the contract documentation requirements and as instructed by the lead designer.

Run interference/clash detection to detect design clashes to assist the project team with coordination process. Attend weekly meetings and submit updates to Lead Designer. Adjust BIM models as directed by the customer and track changes to coordinate with the project manager for change order pricing if required.

Create, collect various 2D drawings as needed to be inserted in the BIM model. Manage 3D models for design coordination and submission for approval by the customer. Creation of additional BIM Objects (Revit Families) as needed.

Assist the project team with model visualizations. Provide project team with updated construction drawings as change orders are released by the customer. Manage and use BIM modeling software (e.g.

AutoCAD, Revit, NavisWorks). Manage and use coordination, scheduling, programming, file sharing and collaboration platforms. Update model as required by the change orders released by the customer.

Correspond regularly with the customer and other subcontractors. Work directly with the project managers to obtain data sheets on submitted equipment for modeling and submit RFIs as needed. Obtain electronic files as needed for model coordination.

Update drawing set as change orders are approved and released for construction. Prepare system as‐built drawings from onsite drawing mark‐ups under minimal supervision of the Lead Designer. Handles more complex issues that have been escalated from less experienced BIM Operators.

Assemble drawing package sets and data sheets for submittal or permit; works on moderate to complex drawing package sets and data sheets. Assemble operations and maintenance manuals and system documentations. Review own drawings for quality and accuracy.

May review drawings from less experienced colleagues. Print, run copies, distribute shop drawings/close‐out documents to different departments/clients as necessary. Complete assigned drawings on time and on budget.

May oversee less experienced AutoCAD/BIM Operators in timely completion of drawings. Assist colleagues with drafting support as requested or required. Organize and maintain project folders and drawings.

Update project schedule daily. Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required. What You'll Need Strong knowledge/expertise in latest version of AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks.

Advanced skills level in reading and understanding architectural and electrical layouts and diagrams. Advanced knowledge of electrical/electronic theory and components. Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure; maintain awareness of and seek to meet the needs and wants of the customer without being prompted.

Advanced technical skills and experience related to security systems. Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Experience Requirements Minimum of seven years of previous AutoCAD/BIM experience required. Minimum of five years' experience in the electronic security industry. Certifications & Licenses Computer‐Aided Drafting Certificate required.

Revit for Architectural Design Professional Certification required. Preferred Qualifications Associate of Applied Science Degree (A.A.S).
