Job description

United Performance Metal's rapidly growing Advanced Solutions Center is looking to add an EDM Operator to their 2nd and weekend shift teams. Supported by O’Neal Industries with 100 years of expertise, this opening will provide you the opportunity to learn what it takes to distribute specialty metals across the globe. FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Starting Wage: $23 - $25, depending on experience 

2nd Shift Hours: Monday - Thursday 3:00pm - 1:30am

Location: Hamilton, OH, On-site

As an EDM Operator, you will:

  • Work closely with customer manufacturing specifications to ensure accurate machine programming.
  • Set up, troubleshoot, and operate wire EDMs according to strict tolerances.
  • Examine and measure completed units, identifying defects and ensuring adherence to specifications; adjust machine controls to resolve production errors
  • Exercise strong problem-solving ability for the inspection and repair of machinery
  • Other duties as assigned
