Quintrix is seeking dynamic professionals looking to advance their careers in Mainframe Operations & Technical Services with a prestigious client in the Healthcare domain. This is your gateway to a high-powered and stable career in mainframe systems that keep the world running. This opportunity includes a comprehensive 10-week online pre-employment training program, designed to fit your schedule with 20 hours per week of instruction held after business hours.

Participants who successfully complete the pre-employment training will receive a $1250 stipend, along with in-demand skills, hands-on experience, and a clear pathway into a dynamic tech role.

Job Title: Mainframe Operations Analyst

Location: Bloomfield CT / Morris Plains, NJ

Client Domain: Healthcare

Shift timings: Open to rotational shifts (24*7)

W2 candidates only.


Key Responsibilities:

  • System, batch and hardware monitoring using various tools and GUI's
  • Level 1 & 2 support for incident triage and resolution
  • Vendor collaboration during incidents
  • Performance stress test support
  • Creation and maintenance of process documentation
  • Collaborate with other infrastructure engineering and application teams to ensure successful projects and maintenance/upgrades
  • Provide 24x7 on-call support
  • Disaster Recovery Exercise Support
  • Perform Mainframe System IPLs
  • Ensure system stability post Maintenance Window


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the USA and not require any visa sponsorship now or in future.
  • Associates/Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 0-1 year of related experience.
  • Basic understanding of IT operations, Operating systems, Mainframe systems.
  • Familiarity with Z/OS basics, System Automation for Z, Schedulers, JCL, TSO/ISPF, SDSF, Linux, OMVS preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Candidates should be able to commute/relocate to the job location.
  • Candidates should be able to commit to work a minimum of 15 months.


Selection Process & Training:

  • Online assessment and technical interview by Quintrix.
  • Client Interview(s).
  • 10 weeks of pre-employment online instructor-led training.
