Boundary Co-op is hiring a Full-Time Produce-Grocery Clerk at our Food Store in Deloraine, Manitoba.

What you'll do:

Reporting to the Food Store Manager, the Grocery/Produce Clerk is responsible for:

  • Demonstrate day-to-day behaviours and actions that align with and strengthen the Co-operative's vision, mission, values, brand and focus on safety;
  • Maintain and display all types of produce according to department standards;
  • Maintain grocery and produce inventory through receiving, stocking, and facing merchandise;
  • Assist with maintaining till operations as required;
  • Greet customers and respond to customer questions in a courteous and professional manner;
  • Ensure department best practices are consistently executed across grocery and produce areas;
  • Ensure pricing accuracy throughout the store, including activation and deactivation of promotions and sale pricing;
  • Monitor code dates to ensure the freshest inventory is available;
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-maintained department;
  • Follow proper housekeeping and maintenance duties;
  • Prioritize multiple concurrent tasks in a fast-paced retail environment;
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
