Security Officer Part Time Computer Operations

As a Part-Time Security Officer in Burlington, NJ, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform.

Pay Rate: $18.74 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime

Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
  • Monitor access points, visitor activity, and delivery areas in accordance with site procedures; verify credentials and maintain required logs and documentation.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including the business perimeter, to identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
  • Support a professional, welcoming environment while helping to deter unauthorized access and maintaining awareness of evolving site conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least two years of security-related experience is required.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
