Job Description Summary
This position operates, monitors and adjusts the packaging equipment in a manner consistent with safety, food safety, quality, and production standards.Job Description
Monitors Line Sanitation, Ink-jet coder, Bagger operation, Dyna-pack operation,Settlersand Case sealers
Performs routine metal detector checks to ensure proper function of metal detectors.
Monitors line flow rates. Including regular checks for proper feed of product through baggers.
Monitors and adjust vibrators to gainoptimumbagger performance.
Orders packaging material
Ensures proper container sizing
Records packaging machinery efficiencies, downtime, and fills out reports accurately and correctly.
Responsible for ensuring complete packaging quality ofproducttaking regular checks or weights,sealscodes, glue patterns, etc.
Complete CIL's and centerlines.
Participates in AMD Drumbeats.
Reworksproductwhen necessary.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic & Preferred Qualifications
Education/ Certifications:
High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
Lock-out/Tag-out, Forklift, and Sanitation certification arerequired. If you are not qualified, you will be trained and must meet certification requirements.
Skills and Experience:
Effectively communicate in English verbally and in writing. Ability to understand instructions and follow directions in English, both written and oral. (Requirementmay vary by location).
Experience driving forklift in warehouse or manufacturing establishment preferred.
Must be able to be qualified withintime framesestablishedbyfacility.
Ability to perform basic math functions,required.
