Our Komline Custom Machining team is seeking a skilled Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machinist to aid us in delivering precision parts and components to meet our goals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Set up, adjust, and operate CNC machines such as lathes, mills, and grinders
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files to produce precision parts
  • Program CNC machines using G-code to control machine operations
  • Inspect finished products using precision measurement tools to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines, including troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical issues
  • Collaborate with engineers and production staff to meet project deadlines and production goals
  • Suggest improvements to increase efficiency and optimize production processes
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in CNC machining or completion of a technical program in CNC operation
  • Proficiency in operating a 5-Axis DMG CNC machine and understanding G-code/M-code
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials as required
  • Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment
  • Must be able to work 2nd shift 4:00pm-2:30am Monday-Thursday.

Nice To Have:

  • Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, AutoCAD)
  • Experience operating CNC lathes or turn mill experience
