Job description

Job Summary:
Hyve Solutions is a leader in the data center solutions industry, designing and delivering custom networking solutions. They are looking for a detail-oriented Network Engineer to troubleshoot and configure networking equipment, create test plans, and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve issues.
Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot, and configure switches, and resolve any complex problems.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well structured test plans and test cases.
• Drive enhancements through full life-cycle from concept to final implementation and support.
• Provide configuration recommendation and assistance in deployment
• Recreate reported issues in lab with customer’s configuration
• Work with QA and develop engineering teams to investigate and resolve issues and hardware defects
Qualifications:
Required:
• 3-5 years of working experience in the networking industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and organization skills.
• BS in a computer related field or equivalent work experience.
• Excellent knowledge and experience troubleshooting protocols.
• Must have experience in ONIE and SONiC OS.
• Familiar with the command line interface for Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Ciena devices.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, JNCIP, or Network+.
• Solid understanding of fiber-optic technology including cable types, connector types, optic types, patch panels, and optical transport technologies.
