Job description

Field Services should be mindful and thorough in their work, following installation and safety guidelines, and instructions from the Field Services Team Leaders.


Position Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $14 to $22 hourly Based on Experiance 
Benefits: Health, Basic Dental, Vision, 401k, and Paid Time Off.


Objectives

  • Providing service and customer support during field visits or dispatches
  • Managing all on site installation, repair, maintenance, and test tasks
  • Diagnosing errors or technical problems and determining proper solutions

Experience:

  • Preferred 1+ years telecommunication experience
  • Understand basic computer skills and proficiency with computers
  • Have knowledge in basic computer networking skills and knowledge

Responsibilities

  • Installation of broadband equipment at tower premises
  • Interact with tower landlords/CMs and represent the company in a professional manner
  • Assist with new tower site construction
  • Troubleshoot broadband tower equipment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network outages
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and support on call after hours
  • Familiarity with mobile tools and applications
  • Clean driving record and valid driver’s license

Skills

  • Follow cabling procedures for wiring towers
  • Comfortable working on ladders, roofs, towers (up to 300’), attics, crawl spaces, and other confined and elevated locations
  • Basic mechanical skills and self-motivated
  • Knowledge of and ability to operate basic hand and power tools
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency with computers
  • Basic computer networking skills and knowledge
  • Use of PC based applications to program and diagnose various communications equipment
  • Must be customer service oriented and professional in appearance
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
