Position Overview: Busek is seeking motivated and talented Mechanical or Electrical Engineering students for our Summer 2026 internship program. As an Engineering Intern, you will collaborate with our experienced engineers and scientists on exciting projects in space propulsion and related technologies. This internship offers hands-on experience and an opportunity to contribute to real-world projects.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the design, development, and testing of propulsion systems and components.
  • Perform engineering calculations and simulations to support design and analysis efforts.
  • Support the assembly, integration, and testing of hardware in a laboratory environment.
  • Document test results, design updates, and other project data.
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to solve engineering challenges.
  • Conduct research and provide input on innovative engineering solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Helpful to have basic machine shop experience with standard hand tools.
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
