Job description

Swanson Martin & Bell, LLPย has an opening for an ITย Helpdesk Internย to support the IT department out of our downtown Chicago office for 15 hours per week. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and can work independently.

Responsibilitiesย include but are not limited to, assist the IT Helpdesk team by delivering IT support and excellent customer service to our end users, assist with imagining and configuration (including back-up and restoration of user data) of user laptops, assist the department with answering basic helpdesk tickets, and other day-to-day assignments.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Basic understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products
  • Familiarity with Windows environments
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and with a team
  • Excellent communication skills, including attention to detail
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint) and basic networking concepts
  • Familiarity with help desk ticketing systems
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles
  • Document Management System (DMS) experience is a plusย (iManage)
  • 12-week commitment

Compensation: $20.00 per hour
