Here's how a Field Technology Specialist (Construction) for PCL Construction Services, Inc. within US Head Office contributes to our team:

Responsibilities
  • Resolves user-reported problems using available tools and following procedures and policies for handling support cases. 
  • District jobsite setup and turndown, including remote support. 
  • Delivers technical training and other knowledge resources. 
  • Administers and monitors district office and construction site server resources and technology solutions to ensure optimal operation, and responds to issues. 
  • Accurate and timely logging of problems, and resolutions to problems, in problem-management database. 
  • Provides implementation support on corporate and regional initiatives. 
Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent required.

· Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in computer technology or a related discipline preferred. · Two years experience including Co-op/internship or relevant experience preferred.

· Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas and concepts clearly and concisely.

· Basic problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with a focus on proactive solutions.

· Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize own work.

· Results-oriented and able to meet deadlines.

· Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers.

· Basic understanding of Windows operating systems and networking standards.

· Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. as part of regular job duties

The estimated salary range for this role is $66,000 - $85,000, based on your experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be confirmed as part of a personalized offer.
