Vintus LLC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented undergraduate student to join our Information Technology Department as a Summer Intern. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience in a dynamic business environment, working alongside our IT team on a range of projects spanning systems support, data management, infrastructure, and technology initiatives. The ideal candidate is curious, proactive, and eager to apply classroom knowledge to practical business challenges.
Responsibilities
Assist with day-to-day IT support, including hardware setup, software configuration, and troubleshooting for internal users
Support the maintenance and documentation of IT systems, networks, and processes
Participate in the evaluation, testing, and deployment of new technologies and software tools
Assist with data entry, organization, and reporting using internal systems and databases
Help develop and update IT documentation, user guides, and standard operating procedures
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and identify technology solutions
Contribute to special projects and initiatives as assigned by the IT team
Adhere to all IT security policies and best practices
Required
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
High level of attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred
Familiarity with networking concepts, cloud platforms, or database fundamentals
Experience with help desk or IT support tools
Basic knowledge of scripting or programming (e.g., Python, PowerShell) is a plus
Prior internship or work experience in a professional setting
Hands-on experience working within a growing, entrepreneurial company in the wine and luxury goods industry
Exposure to a broad range of IT functions, from infrastructure and support to data and business systems
