Job Description (Summary) The Senior Platform Engineer designs, builds, troubleshoots, and maintains platforms across operating systems, hardware, and software infrastructure. The role ensures efficiency, security, and resiliency for both cloud and on‑premises systems, supporting DevOps and business objectives. Collaboration with Application, Architect, and Database Engineers is required to maintain platform integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor performance and troubleshoot issues
  • Manage and configure DevOps tools (API Gateway, Terraform)
  • Collaborate with DevOps and production teams for new features/services
  • Implement automation and orchestration for platform services
  • Coordinate tasks across teams for smooth operations
  • Identify and mitigate security threats, ensure compliance
  • Develop security and resiliency policies and procedures
  • Produce high‑level design documentation
  • Conduct technical research for new/modified systems
  • Manage vendor relationships for design and platform changes

Requirements

    • Required: Bachelor’s in Computer Science or 7+ years Platform Engineer experience
    • Preferred: Azure Solutions Architect, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
