Job description

We're hiring an IT Manager at PASO Home Study/Post Release Services Program in Phoenix, AZ, an affiliate of Rite of Passage. Our employees help people seeking safety from persecution in their home countries and reunite families torn apart by conflict. Combined with our residential programs we resettle and protect vulnerable children who arrive unaccompanied in the United States. We advocate for compassion and justice for all migrants. What you'll do:
This position will handle all technology issues as they relate to this program including setting up computers, trouble-shooting information technology issues, internet & phone system problems, and remote learning/court hearings/lawyer meetings. The Information Technology Manager is also responsible for ensuring adequate and sufficient data safety and security measures are being implemented across the program.
To be considered, you should:
  • BS/BA Degree required. A minimum of five years of related experience may be substituted for a four-year college degree.
  • Be fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
  • 3-5 years of networking experience
  • Knowledge of a range of computer networking systems and languages to include Microsoft server, Cisco, Active Directory or similar computer networks, computer network hardware and peripheral equipment, federal copyright laws as they pertain to the use of computer software, computer and/or network security systems, applications, procedures and techniques.
  • Be empathetic, patient, and treat others with respect.
  • Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen (We no longer test for THC), physical, and TB test.
