Job description

We are seeking a Computer Networking Instructor to join our team! You will educate and mentor students from various backgrounds who are seeking to become network technicians.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach courses within the curriculum of the networking platform such as:
    • Networking concepts
    • Networking Security
    • Cloud Services
    • Virtualization Technologies
    • Microsoft Technologies
    • Cisco products and concepts
  • How to recognize and troubleshoot network & system issues
  • How to monitor active network and server infrastructure
  • How to perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment
  • How to build and/or use network security measures to prevent system interruptions or breaches
  • How to execute sensitive data backup and restoration procedures
  • Understanding technical procedures and user guides

​Qualifications:

  • Must have minimum three (3) years experience in a networking environment
  • Proof of training
    • formal education (Associate's Degree or higher)
    • industry based certifications

Work Schedule:

Classes are taught Mornings and Evenings on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Morning sessions are taught 8:00am til 12:00pm; Evening sessions are taught 5:30pm til 9:30pm.

Depending on subject matter, you could be working a variable schedule of the above.
