Position Summary:
Apex Sign Group is seeking an IT Helpdesk/Network systems Administrator to join our rapidly growing company! In this role you will be responsible for providing technical assistance with computer systems, hardware, and software. You'll be the first point of contact for team members, and will respond to email, chat, phone calls and tickets to offer technical support.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide internal customers with outstanding customer service and support via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Lead workstation installation, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Maintain computer networks and related computing environments including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations.
  • Monitor data backups and disaster recovery operations.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, or other network and system problems, and replace defective components when necessary.
  • Monitor the performance of computer systems and networks, and coordinate computer network access and use.
  • Manage the IT helpdesk, including prioritizing incoming support requests, scheduling maintenance, and reporting on trends.
  • Provide backup support for ERP & Main Frame systems maintenance and development support.
  • A driven desire to develop, Model, Analyze, and design systems to support the company's growth requirements to drive increase in efficiency and company's functionality.
  • This is an ON-SITE position at the APEX office in San Antonio, TX.

Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Trade School or related IT Network Systems /Help desk technical support Certificate Preferred
  • A college bachelor's degree in information technology is a plus.
  • Experience with trouble shooting hardware and software.
  • Desktop support

  • Advanced knowledge of Windows and MS Office.
