Highlighted Duties:
  • Lead Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives that improve safety, quality, productivity, and reduce manufacturing costs.
  • Manage capital equipment, automation, tooling, and facility improvement projects from concept through implementation.
  • Analyze manufacturing processes to eliminate waste, increase efficiency, and improve throughput.
  • Design and optimize manufacturing cells, material flow, tooling, and workstation layouts to maximize productivity and ergonomics.
  • Partner with Operations, Maintenance, and Quality to troubleshoot production issues and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation including standard work, process flows, work instructions, layouts, and engineering standards.
  • Support equipment selection, installation, commissioning, and validation while ensuring reliable operation.
  • Evaluate manufacturing performance using production and financial data to prioritize improvement opportunities and measure project success.
  • Provide technical leadership and coach cross-functional teams while driving a culture of continuous improvement.

Highlighted Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • 5+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience in a fabrication, metalworking, or industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated success leading capital projects and manufacturing process improvements.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with fabrication, welding, CNC machining, robotics, automation, or similar manufacturing technologies.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, or similar CAD software preferred.
  • Strong communication, project management, and problem-solving skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
