Job Description:

2nd shift: 3:30 pm – 11:30 PM or 3rd shift: 11:30 PM – 7:30 AM

This position requires 24X7, 365 days in a year onsite support. Weekends and holiday shift work will be needed

Performs a variety of duties in support of a computer, network (LAN/WAN), and/or client server unit.

Reviews input data to verify adequacy and appropriateness of material required for data processing and related operations.

Reviews output data to verify completeness, accuracy, and conformance to quality standards and specifications.

Maintains internal records and may catalog, disperse, and return tapes/disks.

May review daily processing logs and may set or revise schedules.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree and 0 years of experience.
  • 2 years of related experience can be substituted for Associate’s degree.
  • 4 years of non-related experience can be substituted for Associate’s degree.

Manager Notes:

Performs a variety of duties in support of a computer, network (LAN/WAN), and/or client server environment.

Processes and monitors production batch job processing in a multi-system environment.

Observes equipment and processes via monitoring software and monitors consoles for operator messages or error indicators.

May perform clerical work incidental to machine operations such maintaining production records, data center and visitor badging logs, and team shift reporting.

This position requires 24X7, 365 days in a year onsite support.

Weekends and holiday shift work will be needed.

Special Requirements:

Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Control-M, Tivoli and Network Manager or equivalent

Familiarity with a ticketing system (i.e., SMAX, HPSM)

Datacenter operations experience not required but preferred

Good verbal and written communications required for gathering/supplying details about job failures from/to analysts and communicating with management and team leads.
