Ledet Training is a chain of instructor-led computer software training centers in the USA. We have been authorized training vendors for Adobe, Autodesk, Unity, Microsoft and other major software vendors for over 20 years.  

The company operates bricks and mortar facilities in Atlanta, Chicago, Denver, San Diego and Washington DC, as well as high quality online training in virtual classrooms and onsite training services delivered at customer locations worldwide.

Job Description

The Training Advisor is responsible for finding, qualifying and assisting clients in selecting and registering for public and open enrollment public computer software training classes. The Training Advisor has the responsibility for ensuring the profitability of the events in their product line, locations and team. This is a quota carrying position and is based in Atlanta GA.  

We have a lead generation process so you have a large database of potential prospects and interested potential clients.  This is an inside position so all communications are handled via phone calls, video conferencing, email and chat.

Duties include:

  • Research organizations to determine company wide training needs for private group classes or bundle purchases.
  • Network with organizational contacts to uncover training needs across each organization for both group registrations and bundle purchases.
  • Qualify individuals interested in training to determine needs, interest and close registrations.
  • All duties related to proposals, negotiations, customization of events, invoicing, collections, promptly and professionally.
  • Work with staff, instructors and client to customize technical training events.
  • Follow up with all clients in a professional and timely manner.
  • Negotiate with clients to sell profitable and mutually agreeable deals.
  • Manage all potential issues proactively and timely.
  • Handling inbound phone calls and chat systems, as well as outbound calls promptly, directly, and via phone, not just email.
  • Ensuring that coworkers and management are kept aware of all client projections, projects and upcoming events.
  • Achieve quota each month for assigned subject matter training lines, locations, team and company goals.
Qualifications
  • Previous successful inside sales experience with quota achieving performance.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong computer and typing skills.
  • Ability to learn, understand and communicate proficiently regarding the genre, product and courses that we represent.
  • Self-motivated and Self-managed. That means we need someone able to plan, prioritize, and carefully manage one's own activities to maximize time and daily results.
  • Someone who will thrive in a small company and will go above and beyond to achieve business results.

  • * Previous inside sales experience with a technical computer software training company is not required, but highly valued.
