Position Summary:
The Engineering Computer Lab Student Worker will support the department by monitoring the computer lab, ensuring equipment is functioning properly, and assisting students with software applications including Excel, MATLAB, and SolidWorks. Additional responsibilities may include providing guidance on basic 3D printing processes and supporting faculty with special projects. This position offers valuable hands-on experience in engineering tools and technology while contributing to the success of fellow students.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Monitor computer lab during scheduled hours.
  • Assist students with Excel, MATLAB, and SolidWorks.
  • Provide basic troubleshooting for software and equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and functional lab environment.
  • Support faculty with technical tasks and projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled in College Physics.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and MATLAB.
  • Enrollment in at least 6 credit hours during the semester of employment.

Preferred Qualifications
