Job description

Responsibilities
Under the general supervision of the Director, the Cath Lab Technologist provides care for patients having procedures in the Cath Lab in the role of monitoring, scrubbing and circulating. Demonstrates an understanding of all invasive procedures, the equipment and supplies for each procedure, and indications for performing each procedure. Must be able to take call and live within 30 minutes of hospital, and/or make accommodations for being within 30 minutes of hospital when taking call.
Qualifications
MINIMUM EDUCATION:
Associate Degree.
MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:
Two years prior Cath Lab experience, performing both diagnostic and interventional procedures, is preferred.
REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
BLS and ACLS certification required though American Heart Association. RCIS or ARRT required upon hire date.
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:
Basic computer knowledge. Exhibits strong interpersonal and team player skills with all levels of the healthcare team. Proficiency in interpreting ECGs and hemodynamic pressure monitoring preferred.
