Job description

Lab Skills Assistant, Veterinary Technology

Assists department with the students utilizing the Veterinary Technician training lab.

  • Responsible for set up and operation of the training lab
  • Assists faculty with student based Veterinary Technician projects
  • Interface with the industry advisory board
  • Assists the faculty in evaluation of student techniques for grade
  • Collaborates with students and faculty to deliver courses
  • Assists with the maintenance and cleanliness of Veterinary Technician labs
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications Education and Experience/Training

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent)
  • Registered Veterinary Technician
  • Minimum one year of related experience

  • The work is performed in a normal, professional office environment;
  • The work area is adequately lighted, heated and ventilated;
