Job description

Overview: Adirondack Beverages is looking for a member to join our team, to fill an entry level position that requires attention to detail surrounding documentation review, maintenance, and distribution. Working in manufacturing or logistics is a plus, but not necessary. Office experience or secretarial experience is acceptable. This is a non-union, non-exempt hourly paid position with a schedule of M-F 8am to 5pm w/ 1-hour lunch, and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Process batching records from previous production runs to remove ingredients from inventory and maintain records.
  • Distribute production schedules daily, provide schedule updates, and communicate schedule changes with relevant parties. Distribute formula sheets for batching.
  • Process hold reports
  • Review COAs of incoming raw materials, and scan and organize associated files.
  • Scheduling interviews for candidates applying for roles within the Quality department.
  • Reconcile sanitation chemical inventory, spring water receiving records, and sugar delivery records.
  • Assist with scanning, saving and organizing docs to contribute to the departments organization and databases.
  • Work closely with Quality Manager, Quality Supervisors, syrup technicians, lab technicians, line foreman, receiving and shipping warehouse teams, and production schedulers to help improve efficiency, accuracy, and overall workflow.
  • Perform miscellaneous projects as needed.
  • Responsible for Food Safety and Food Quality.

Requirements:

  • Manage time well and ensure that all tasks are handled to completion and delivered before the deadline. Respond to more urgent issues or tasks with a swift manner.
  • Strong attention to detail with an ability to communicate clearly

  • Skill in practical application of mathematics and the ability to choose the right methods to solve a problem.
