Job description

Our Lab in Latham is hiring a full-time Lab Assistant to join their team! The hours are Monday-Friday from 11:30am-7:00pm. This position may also be filled by a Medical Technologist.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist in receiving, logging and collecting specimens; prepare specimens for technical testing.
  • Assist with identification and labeling of specimens; store and distribute specimens
  • File reports and laboratory results.
  • Support staff in all CCP sites on blood drawing requirements and use computer expertise to assist co-workers.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment by cleaning areas daily, washing counters, emptying trash containers, cleaning up spills, preparing bio hazardous materials for departure, and all other duties necessary to sustain an appropriate work area.

Compensation: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
