Description

Exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced medical team within a growing federally qualified community health center. HealthFirst Family Care Center, Inc. "The Heart of Our Community" provides comprehensive services including adult/pediatric medical care, health education, health assessment and screenings, gynecology, cardiology, behavioral health, substance use treatment, and adult/pediatric dental care.


IT Manager Summary:

The IT Manager reports to HealthFirst's COO/CIO and is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, support, security, and performance of the organization's information technology systems and infrastructure across all HealthFirst sites. Responsibilities include managing IT support operations and escalations; maintaining hardware, software, telecommunications, and clinical systems; coordinating with internal staff, vendors, and hosted service providers to ensure reliable system availability and issue resolution; supporting cybersecurity, compliance, identity management, and HIPAA-related initiatives; supervising and mentoring IT support staff; managing onboarding/offboarding and user access administration; overseeing IT asset lifecycle management and operational budgeting; supporting Epic and other healthcare applications; developing policies, procedures, and training resources; and recommending cost-effective technology improvements aligned with organizational goals. The position requires strong technical, communication, leadership, vendor management, and strategic planning skills, as well as experience supporting healthcare technology environments and electronic health record systems.


Schedule: Mon - Fri 8:30 am - 5:00 pm


Pay Range: $94,279.09 - $106,698.83 annually*


*The pay range represents HealthFirst's good faith estimate for this role at the time of posting, in compliance with applicable laws. Final compensation will be determined based on several factors such as relevant experience, education, skills, internal equity, market conditions, and budget considerations. Candidates with less direct experience may be placed at the lower end of the range, while those with more significant or specialized experience may be considered at the higher end.


Benefits:

5.2 weeks of paid time off (PTO), 3 personal days, and 11.5 paid holidays; employer contributed health, dental, vision, life insurance, long term disability and retirement contributions; voluntary flexible spending accounts and disability/critical illness coverage; and employee discounts, referral program, reimbursable licensing fees, tuition reimbursement, and continuing education credits.


Required Qualifications:

  1. BS/BA degree with emphasis on information technology, computer science or business preferred. Associate degree or certification in computer science networking required. 
  2. Three plus years' experience in an IT leadership or supervisory position. 
  3. IT background in a community health center or healthcare environment a plus.
  4. Minimum of 5 years' IT experience.
  5. Experience coordinating and overseeing external vendors. 
  6. Demonstrated experience managing or working with electronic medical records systems (Epic preferred).
  7. Ability to communicate technical issues and concepts clearly and effectively to a diverse employee base.
  8. Must submit a CORI release form and demonstrate proof of no disqualifying information.
