Job Summary:
Venus Aerospace is revolutionizing rocket engine propulsion with innovative technologies. The IT Technician will be the first point of contact for IT support, responsible for maintaining workstations, troubleshooting devices, and assisting with onboarding new staff.
Responsibilities:
• Provide first-line IT support to Venus employees.
• Troubleshoot problems with computers, printers, and mobile devices.
• Assist with software installation, updates, and configuration.
• Set up, configure, and upgrade desktops, laptops, and other IT equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning and repairs.
• Support local area networks (LAN), wireless networks, and internet connections.
• Troubleshoot connectivity problems (Wi-Fi, VPN, routers, switches).
• Keep accurate records of support requests, equipment inventory, and system changes.
• Assist with onboarding new staff by setting up accounts, services, and devices.
• Collaborate with system administrators and developers when needed.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Experience as an IT Technician or relevant position.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of basic IT cybersecurity principles.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
