Job description

The Inventory Specialist is responsible for effectively organizing, resolving, and updating various inventory counts, utilizing numerous tracking systems for shipping, receiving, servicing, drilling hours and completion dates for drilling tools in all divisions within Turbo Drill Industries, Inc.  The Inventory Specialist also effectively communicates key issues and potential solutions to management in a timely manner.

  • Utilize various computer software programs (Epicor) by entering data to initiate and complete services in relation to shipping, receiving, reworks, inspection, reports, and hours of operation for all major components.
  • Count materials, equipment, merchandise or supplies in stock.
  • Report discrepancies between physical counts and ERP records.
  • Distribute or stock merchandise.
  • Receive and inventory stock.
  • Ensure shop organization & cleanliness.
  • Perform other job-related tasks as assigned.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience as an Inventory Clerk or similar role preferred.
  • Excellent math and analytical skills.
  • Filing skills including physical and digital records management. 
  • Excellent reading, verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. 
  • Ability to work extended hours.
  • Forklift experience is beneficial.
