โ€ข Adjunct: Computer Integrated Manufacturing Engineering Technology (CIM) will report directly to the Director Engineering and Technology Programs and will Instruct a course within the CIM program's curriculum. This teaching assignment is for a face to face course that meets twice a week for one semester. The class assignment for this position is CIM-211 PLC Programming.

Job Description
โ€ข Present theory-based lectures which include the numbering systems of Hexadecimal, Octal, Binary, and conversions to Decimal. Electrical theory of sourcing and sinking inputs and output wiring of PLC modules. Configuration of Allen Bradley SLK 502 based PLC backplanes. A full syllabus will be provided.
โ€ข Conduct laboratory experiments on the college supplied equipment which consists of the Allen Bradley PLC hardware and the RS Logix 500 software. Instructor has the ability to create their own laboratory assignments for the class. All basic functions of programming need to be covered such as but not limited to: And, Or, Xor rungs, times, counters, latches, and ect.
โ€ข Assess student learning with tests, quizzes, and laboratory reports.
โ€ข Submit final grades to the college's grading system.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Must possess a minimum of three years of College, University, or High School CIM teaching experience. Alternatively, three years of delivering industrial CIM training is also acceptable.
  • The College's High School Plus CIM instructors are encouraged to apply.
