Job description

Overview

Reports to Operations Manager

Plan and execute assigned orders to exceed customer expectations, ensure customer satisfaction, and maintain profitability for McCollisterโ€™s and its members. Works as part of a McCollisterโ€™s Fitness Systems installation team to deliver and install fitness equipment.

Works as part of the McCollisterโ€™s Fitness systems installation team to deliver and install fitness equipment. These services may be but are not limited to servicing installation and extractions for the McCollister Fitness client base.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with loading of trucks with fitness equipment from our warehouse.
  • Unloads the truck of fitness equipment and delivers into the client facility.
  • As part of the installation team, puts together and installs equipment onsite.
  • Assists the removal of equipment from the client location that is to be returned to our warehouse.
  • Assists driver with filling out BOL and inventory of return equipment.
  • Removes packaging and dunnage from client location and puts on truck neatly.
  • Folds blankets and puts away other equipment (straps, tools, etc.) on the truck when job is completed. This is to be done at the end of each day.
  • Assist driver going to and from client locations with directions, paperwork, phone calls to the client location or calls to the McCollister Fitness planner with updates.
  • Assist driver with parking, backing in or out at the client location.
  • Along with the driver, ensures all safety considerations have been considered.
  • Upon arrival or return to MCC warehouse, assist the driver with removal of all trash and dunnage which includes putting cardboard into the compactor. Folds blankets and puts away tools, straps, and other installation equipment.
  • Responsible for maintaining tools, phones, cards provided by McCollisterโ€™s.

Education

  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience

  • A minimum 1 yearsโ€™ experience working with fitness equipment desired
  • Experience working in fitness
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Clean, safe driving record
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs

  • Competent computer and ipad skills
  • Candidate must be able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Must be organized
