The ideal candidate will have experience reading blueprints, installing HVAC equipment and ductwork, and working collaboratively with other trades on commercial construction projects.

What You'll Do:

  • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction drawings
  • Fabricate, assemble, and install commercial HVAC ductwork and sheet metal systems
  • Measure, mark, and layout materials for installation using industry-standard tools
  • Coordinate with other trades to ensure efficient installation of HVAC equipment and duct systems
  • Install HVAC equipment including:
  • Air Handlers
  • VAV Boxes
  • Rooftop Units (RTUs)
  • Exhaust Fans
  • Unit Heaters
  • Related Mechanical Equipment
  • Fasten and seal ductwork and sheet metal components using appropriate methods and materials
  • Install furnace casings, flashings, and other HVAC-related sheet metal assemblies
  • Use hand and power tools to cut, trim, grind, smooth, and finish metal surfaces
  • Maintain a clean and safe jobsite
  • Follow all company and OSHA safety standards
  • Complete daily reports and communicate project progress as required

What You'll Bring:

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work at heights
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and active construction environments
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the day
