Job description

Installation Coordinator
Summary
The Installation Coordinator is responsible for reviewing contracts, ensuring product delivery, scheduling installs, overseeing the installation process and following up with customers to ensure satisfaction of flooring projects. Will partner with staff as well as managing the work for the installers and handling customer issues.
FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-exempt
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Reviews work orders for accuracy, verifies technical information, and identifies and resolves labor and/or product issues.
  2. Schedules customers and subcontractors for installations, work orders and to confirm appointments.
  3. Reviews install details for each job with the appropriate installer before installation. Track in progress calls and resolves installation issues with installers and external partners.
  4. Handles subcontractor recruiting, and onboarding.
  5. Receives and solves customer complaints and issues and performs customer follow-up calls.
  6. Communicates and guides subcontractors in the field. Ensures proper coverage and work load
  7. Loads and unloads trucks with a forklift/pallet-jack/manually.
  8. Ensures inventory levels are maintained and stages materials for crew load outs.
  9. Processes work invoices including chargebacks and submits to the Accounting Department
  10. Confirms COC are signed and uploaded into the system.
  11. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  1. Education and/or Experience - High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience must involve customer service management.
  2. Language Skills - Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write letters and prepare other documents as needed. Proofreads work.
  3. Mathematical Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure for basic algebraic and geometric calculations
  4. Reasoning Ability - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  5. Computer Skills - Knowledge of computer workstations and peripheral equipment; knowledge of database, spreadsheet, email and word processing software.
  6. Communication Skills -- Be able to effectively communicate orally and in writing in English.
  7. Vision - Ability to view documents, multiple screens, and read handwritten documents.
