Job Summary:

The Account Installation Specialist is responsible for installing and setting up new customer accounts and ensuring all installations are completed accurately, safely, and in accordance with company standards. This role serves as the first in-person point of contact for many new customers and helps deliver a professional and positive new account experience.

This position partners closely with sales and operations to support new account setup, complete field installations, and identify customer needs or additional opportunities in the field. This is a hands-on, field-based role that requires strong mechanical aptitude, organization, communication, and consistent execution across the assigned territory.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None

Essential Job Functions:

  • Install and set up new customer accounts, including first aid cabinets, eyewash stations, AEDs, fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, and other safety equipment.
  • Serve as the first in-person point of contact for new customers, delivering a professional experience that builds trust and supports long-term partnerships.
  • Identify safety gaps and customer needs during installations and communicate opportunities for additional products or services.
  • Support account growth by educating customers on compliance requirements, best practices, and availablesolutions.
  • Use power tools and installation equipment to securely mount products on drywall, wood, metal, concrete, and othersurfaces.
  • Ensure all installations are completed safely, accurately, andin accordance withcompany standards and applicableregulations.
  • Manage multiple installations and service-related tasks across the territory with strongorganizationtimemanagement, and attention todetail.
  • Communicate clearly and proactively with customers, sales representatives, and internal teams throughout the installation process.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of completed installations, equipment, and customer needs using company tools and systems.
  • Partner with sales and operations teams to ensure seamless onboarding and accurate account setup, and a high-quality customer experience.
  • Maintain companyvehicle, tools, and equipment ina clean, organized, and operationalcondition.
  • Represent the company professionally in all customer interactions.
  • Perform other duties asassigned.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Experiencein installation, field service, route-based roles, or customer-facing positions.
  • Strong communicationand interpersonal skills with a customer-focused and sales-minded approach.
  • Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using power tools and installationequipment.
  • Ability to identify opportunities, influence decisions, and recommend solutions in a customer-facing environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, field-based environment.
  • Ability to work both independently in the field and collaboratively with internalteams.
  • Valid driver’s license, clean drivingrecordand ability to travel throughout assigned territoryasneeded.
  • Proficiencywith mobile tools, applications, or basic systems used for documentation andtracking.
  • Demonstrated accountability for quality of work and customer experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in safety services, facilities services, or industrial installation.
  • Prior experience in route sales, field sales, or customer-facing service roles with account growth or upselling responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations or workplace safety equipment.
  • Prior experience working in commercial or industrial environments.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to use a computer, phone, and mobile applications in thefield.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and work in the field for extended periods, including up to 8 hours asneeded.
  • Ability to lift,pushand install equipment up to 50pounds.
  • Ability to work in various environments, including indoor and outdoor settings.
  • Ability to use power tools and installation equipment safely and effectively.
  • Ability to drive a stocked van throughout assigned territory daily.

Compensation Structure:

  • Base Salary: $50,000 (bi-weekly pay frequency)
  • Estimated Commission Earnings: ~$500/month
  • Total Expected Compensation: $55,000 – $60,000 annually
