Production Operator

Charter Wireโ€™s 81st Street facility is currently looking to fill a 2nd shift manufacturing job in our Stamping Department. Operators will run multiple machines in a fast-paced, detail-oriented production environment. Click the Link below to learn more!

What do you need to know about the job?

  • Pay Range - $21+/ hour and up, based on experience!

  • Shift - 2nd: 2pm - 10pm

  • Location - 7850 N. 81st Street, Milwaukee, WI 53223

What does a Production Operator at Charter Wire do?

Charter Wireโ€™s 81st Street facility produces parts for global customers and is heavily focused on quality in all positions. This facility has several production areas, each with multiple levels for Production employees to pursue when theyโ€™re ready.

Stamping Department Operators run up to four stamping machines to ensure we are making very specialized parts that will meet customersโ€™ quality requirements. They will operate in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail for quality, performing inspections and basic troubleshooting.

  • To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate attention to detail and the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously is required.
