Summary
The Area Installation Specialist is responsible for recruitment, training and utilization metrics for Installers in their geographical area. This role is responsible for the hiring, onboarding and training of all Installers in their assigned area to ensure customer expectations are meet while fostering and maintain critical relationships with Lowe's Home Improvement.
FLSA Status: Salaried, Exempt
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Meet Company established Key Performance Indicators.
  2. Ensure superior customer satisfaction scores.
  3. Understand the installation contractor marketplace for a defined area, including working knowledge of key competitors, installer base, and local pricing structure.
  4. Recruit, Onboard, and Train Installers for an assigned geographical area.
  5. Negotiate Installer cost structure based upon marketplace rates and Service Pros Installation Group cost model.
  6. Utilize data, reporting, and key performance indicators to ensure gross profit margins and customer metrics are met.
  7. Conducting and analyzing surveys of applicants and Hiring Managers to choose efficient recruiting and hiring methods of Installers.
  8. Perform targeted store visits at the direction of Area Installation Manager or Regional Operations Manager to evaluate and support installer/Lowe's relationship.
  9. In partnership with the workroom, develop and implement installer retention and appreciation plans.
  10. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  1. Education and/or Experience - High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience must involve customer service management.
  2. Language Skills - Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write letters and prepare other documents as needed. Proofreads work.
  3. Mathematical Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure for basic algebraic and geometric calculations
  4. Leadership Ability - Ability to lead situationally and motivate to organizational goals and expectations. Sharing vison and strategy in an effective and inspiring manner.
  5. Reasoning Ability - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  6. Computer Skills - Knowledge of computer workstations and peripheral equipment; knowledge of database, spreadsheet, email and word processing software.
  7. Communication Skills -- Be able to effectively communicate orally and in writing in English.
  8. Vision - Ability to view documents, multiple screens, and read handwritten documents and drive.
  9. Must be able to drive vehicle as well as meet company driving and insurance coverage requirements
  10. Road Warrior - Up to 75% travel
