Responsibilities

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

1.     Provide technical support for the hospital's database environments to ensure performance, availability, and security.

2.     Responsible for general management of the development and production web servers.

3.     Maintain an issues work list and conduct regular and thorough follow-up with interested parties.

4.     Provide primary support and maintenance for core systems as determined by the Senior Systems Specialist.

5.     Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.  Immediately reports and mechanical or electrical equipment malfunctions, unsafe conditions, or employee/patient/visitor injury-accident to the director.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

 

  • B.S. degree in Business, Computer Science or related field or Five (5) years information systems experience
  • Two (2) years database administration or web application development experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Five (5) plus years information systems experience
  • DBA/webmaster certification
