Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking Staff Computer Systems Analyst. This position will be located in Roy, UT.

Job Description:

This role will support Production Operation Systems and Technology team. This role will be the technical SME for Logistics and serve as the technical authority for the implementation, integration, and optimization of logistics-focused information systems. Partnering with cross-functional teams, you'll translate business requirements into robust system solutions, ensure seamless data flow across supply-chain platforms, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and visibility.. The preferred candidate will be an individual with a bias for action, strategic thinking, data analysis, problem-solving, exceptional customer focus, communications, and a sound foundation in Material Planning and Production Control practices. The qualified applicant will have a working knowledge and understanding of Manufacturing Engineering. The candidate must have knowledge and experience of the digital tools required for manufacturing. General skills and expectations within the role include:

Proficient in the principle digital tools

Knowledge of manufacturing flows and their interface with shop floor and Global Supply Chain.

Develops cost/risk benefit summaries and recommendations for leadership.

Experience with Project Management and manufacturing schedules Software tools.

Understanding of schedule waterfall builds with setbacks to independent demands.

Utilizes process improvement methodology (e.g., value stream mapping, employee engagement techniques, flow reduction, etc.)

Experience with cost management (Earned Value, Milestone payments)

Experience with data analysis and/or data mining

Engage and collaborate with programs and functional organizations (from individual contributors to executive staff) to obtain, understand, and interpret manufacturing facilitation and scheduling requirements.

Proven ability to combine material flow management expertise with outstanding information knowledge. Experience with the financial aspects of the business.

Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision. Seeking a critical role in developing and managing achievable production schedules for an entire factory servicing multiple businesses.

Ability to document, track, and monitor problems to ensure a timely resolution.

Possess strong organizational, planning, and decision-making skills and the ability to work as a team member and with other members from different technical backgrounds.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Basic Requirements:

12 Years of relevant experience with Bachelors in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field with Bachelors in Science; 10 Years with Masters; 8 Years with PhD.

6+ Years of expertise using SAP for logistics processes.

Must have U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain an interim Secret Security level clearance pre-start, with the ability to obtain a final Secret Security level clearance post-start

Knowledge of logistical processes and best practices

In-depth understand of logistical transactions in S/4 Hana

Must be detail oriented, organized, and demonstrate a high sense of urgency

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Highly motivated self-starter, detail and quality oriented, and able to work independently

Preferred Qualifications:

Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Excel, Project, and PowerPoint

Experience in the performance of system integration testing


Primary Level Salary Range: $139,000.00 - $208,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
