Sr. Director, Global HRIS & Workday Data Support Services

$210,800.00 - $329,375.00

You Will:
Strategic Leadership & Transformation
  • Participate in defining and executing a multi-year global people data strategy aligned with our overall P&O transformation priorities and enterprise goals.

Workday & HRIS Operational Excellence
  • Oversee the global Workday HCM ecosystem for MVH, ensuring optimal system performance, scalability, and robust data integrity.
  • Deliver consumer quality user experience to associates by optimizing the end-to-end associate lifecycle processes.
  • Accountable for critical P&O systems-related initiatives, including testing, troubleshooting, scope definition, risk management, and milestone delivery. Partner with Systems Solutions team to drive accountability and keep projects on time, on budget, and within scope.
  • Responsible for design and maintenance of knowledge base, operational governance, and SLA management to keep initiatives on track and escalate issues.

Data Governance, Reporting & Analytics
  • Establish and maintain best-in-class data governance, compliance frameworks, and reporting structures to ensure global data privacy and regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain data quality standards to enable informed decision-making across the enterprise. Partner with data and analytics teams to seamlessly integrate HRIS data into MVH and Mars data architectures.
  • Proactively anticipate and identify technical or resource constraints, data integration risks, and downstream operational impacts that could affect delivery, adoption, or the associate experience, and co-design mitigation strategies.

Stakeholder & Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain trusted, collaborative relationships across the entirety of the P&O function, including P&O Heads, COE Leads, MVH P&O, and executive stakeholders.
  • Partner with Finance, IT, Medicine and Operations leaders to deliver fully integrated technology solutions that improve user experience and operational efficiency.
  • Act as the global escalation point for complex HRIS and data-related issues, providing swift and compassionate resolutions.

Vendor & Budget Management
  • Oversee key relationships with technology vendors (including Workday) and external Service Providers. Negotiate contracts, manage service level agreements (SLAs), and track vendor outcomes to maximize value and innovation.
  • Plan and manage the People Systems and Data team's operational budget and planning cycle, ensuring budget is allocated effectively to support strategic transformation priorities.
  • Other job duties as assigned.

Your Experience Should Include:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Technology, Human Resources, or a related field required
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in HRIS, P&O technology, or P&O operations within complex, matrixed, global organizations.
  • Deep technical expertise in Workday architecture, modules (Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Security, and Reporting), and global Workday support/implementation models.
  • Proven track record of leading system and service transformations, supporting distributed workforce (experience with scale preferred).
  • Demonstrated success managing complex operating budgets, software licensing, and strategic external vendor agreements (SaaS, AMS, or BPO providers)
  • Experience in Veterinary or similar industry retail care model preferred (healthcare; dental; urgent care)

Salary range:
Compensation is determined based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, location, and market competitiveness.
