Location: Spartanburg, SC
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Work Arrangement: Onsite

POSITION SUMMARY

Security Finance is seeking an IT Asset Administrator to join our Information Services – Service Delivery team in Spartanburg, SC.

Under moderate supervision, this position assists in the management of the company’s hardware and software assets, including procurement, inventory control, shipment tracking, repair, maintenance, and secure disposition of IT equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain, secure, and organize available inventory of corporate computer system assets held for repair, deployment, or other disposition.

• Maintain accurate records regarding corporate computer system assets, including identification, location, status, and other relevant information.

• Analyze recurring repair and equipment issues and periodically report findings to management.

• Facilitate the purchase of computer equipment assets, supplies, and repair parts.

• Pack, ship, receive, and track computer equipment to and from field operations and other remote locations.

• Track new office openings and office closings to ensure equipment is available for installation or appropriately returned to inventory.

• Dispose of IT assets in a secure manner while ensuring chain-of-custody and documentation standards are met.

• Maintain prompt and regular attendance.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2–4 years of experience in IT Asset Management.

• 2–4 years of experience working with shipping vendors in a commercial environment.

• IT Asset Management (ITAM) certification is a plus.

• Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Ability to communicate effectively and clearly with all levels of the organization.

• Ability to work flexible hours as needed.

EDUCATION

High school diploma or equivalent.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This is an onsite office position that frequently involves operating computers and other office productivity equipment.

The position requires the ability to communicate verbally and in writing and frequently involves handling and repairing electronic equipment. Candidates must be able to lift and shift equipment weighing up to 30 pounds and possess the fine motor skills necessary to work with electronic equipment.
