Location: Mercer County, NJ

What We Offer:

  • Top 401k plans in the industry. Employer contribution of 5% and 6% match, for a total of 11%

HR Compliance & Systems Manager — Core takeaway: This role builds and enforces the entire HR compliance ecosystem — data integrity, workflows, accountability, and reporting — across recruiting, onboarding, training, employee relations, benefits, leave management, payroll, and timekeeping. This is not an HR Director role; it is a systems‑driven compliance and oversight role.

HR Compliance & Systems Manager is responsible for managing, maintaining, and enforcing a comprehensive compliance oversight system that governs the full HR lifecycle. This leader ensures that every HR process — from recruiting through separation — follows consistent, auditable, and data‑driven standards.

You will manage the compliance framework that powers HR operations: automated workflows, corrective‑action communications, accountability checkpoints, and reporting dashboards that allow leadership to monitor risk, performance, and adherence to policy.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in structured environments, understands how HRIS data drives compliance, and can build systems that ensure accuracy, consistency, and operational discipline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compliance Framework Management — Oversee a unified compliance system covering recruiting, onboarding, training, employee relations, benefits, FMLA/leave, payroll, and timekeeping.
  • Workflow Oversight — Maintain automated workflows that enforce required steps, documentation, and approvals across the HR lifecycle.
  • Corrective‑Action Governance — Ensure timely, consistent corrective‑action communications and accountability measures.
  • Data Integrity Management — Validate that all HRIS inputs are accurate, standardized, and compliant with internal and external requirements.
  • Compliance Reporting — Produce actionable dashboards and reports that support operational oversight, compliance monitoring, and leadership decision‑making.
  • Audit & Risk Monitoring — Conduct internal audits, identify gaps, and implement corrective strategies.
  • Policy Enforcement — Ensure HR policies are consistently applied across departments and employee groups.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience managing compliance systems across multiple HR functions.
  • Strong understanding of HRIS data structures, workflows, and reporting.
  • Ability to design and enforce accountability mechanisms.
  • Experience with Paycom, or any major HRIS, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, documentation discipline, and process consistency.
  • Strong communication skills, especially in compliance‑related messaging.
  • Ability to analyze data and translate it into actionable insights.
