The Opportunity
The HRIS Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the Firm's Human Resources Information Systems with a primary focus on Workday and Time Tracking . This individual is responsible for ensuring system functionality, data accuracy, and effective data flow between HR and downstream systems. The HRIS Analyst also partners with HR, Finance and IT to support reporting needs, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to key annual HR cycles and system enhancement projects.
The Day-To-Day
On any given day, you will:
  • Review and audit all data entries submitted by the HRIS Coordinator to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely processing. Communicate necessary corrections promptly.
  • Conduct recurring audits of key HR data fields to maintain consistency and quality across HR systems.
  • Support integrations between HR Systems and payroll to ensure accuracy and timeliness of data transmission.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for end users, the service desk and the HRIS Coordinator for system inquiries, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
  • Provide guidance on appropriate system usage and escalate complex issues as needed.
  • Manage the creation and maintenance of user guides and documentation for end users and system administration.
  • Serve as the primary contact for new report and data requests. Determine the most efficient method for ongoing delivery, such as establishing scheduled reports or granting appropriate system access.
  • Perform Workday security updates as directed by the HRIS Manager for new hires and existing employees.
  • Execute mass data updates using EIB integrations while ensuring data accuracy and proper documentation.
  • Complete basic Workday configuration changes in alignment with system governance and business needs.
  • Lead testing activities for system updates and enhancements, partnering with cross-functional teams to define and execute test plans.
  • Develop test scripts and support the Firm's annual benefits open enrollment by validating system updates and configuration.
  • Contribute to HRIS initiatives and projects involving system improvements, process optimization, integrations, and reporting enhancements.

You Have
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience; 3-5 years of experience supporting HR systems, reporting, or HRIS functions preferred
  • Experience working with enterprise HR systems required, including hands-on experience with Workday in areas such as HCM, Benefits, Compensation, or reporting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify inconsistencies, and support data integrity across HR systems and processes
  • Demonstrates technical aptitude through the ability to learn system functionality quickly, troubleshoot issues, support process improvements, and adapt to evolving technology and business needs
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while collaborating effectively across HR, Finance, IT, and other business teams to support operational and reporting needs

Location Specific Language
The salary range for this role is $78,000 to $89,000 annually. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Chicago. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's pay within the salary range will be based on numerous factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for an annual merit increase and bonus pay.
