• Managing and overseeing information technology and computer systems • Planning, organizing, controlling, and evaluating IT and electronic data operations • Supervising IT staff through recruitment, training, and coaching, as well as communicating job expectations and performance evaluations • Designing, developing, implementing, and coordinating systems, policies, and procedures • Ensuring the security of data, network access, and backup systems • Aligning user needs and system functionality with organizational policies • Identifying problematic areas and implementing strategic solutions in a timely manner • Developing new network troubleshooting strategies to reduce downtime and minimize maintenance costs • Implementing plans to ensure the company's network remains operational during issues • Staying current with new network technology and reporting updates to the executive team quarterly • Collaborating closely with other department managers to assess the company's network growth and maintenance needs • Auditing systems and evaluating their outcomes • Preserving assets, information security, and control structures • Managing the annual budget and ensuring cost-effectiveness
