Title - Technical lead / System architect (Developer/Architect)

Location - Detroit MI

Duration - 10 months

Description:

Client is looking for seasoned individual with broad yet strong technical proficiency and solid software development lifecycle experience.  The individual must be self-sufficient problem solver but also a collaborative team player.  Client is looking for an individual that can be the technical lead / system architect for multiple work tracks on a system built on a SQL Server 2008 R2 platform. This individual should be able to write and/or review design documents that can be followed easily by others, be able to program (SQL & SSIS) and be able to do detailed code reviews of others work. 

Top 3 Skills/Experience:

1.            Strong background in architecting and designing complex solutions. (5-10 years)

2.            Strong design and development skills using SQL Server 2008 and SSIS (this is a MUST) (5-10 years)

3.            Must be a competent modeler. Must be able to communicate complex ideas through simple pictures to a wide variety of audiences. (5-10 years)

Required Skills/Experience:

1.            Self-starters that can take loosely defined assignments and drive them to structured work.

2.            Proven ability to drive from very high level concepts to a detailed understanding of business problems.

3.            Ability to conceptualize business and technical solutions; ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely.

4.            Strong background in architecting and designing complex solutions.

5.            Strong design and development skills using SQL Server 2008 and SSIS (this is a MUST)

6.            Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

7.            Must be a competent modeler. Must be able to communicate complex ideas through simple pictures to a wide variety of audiences.

8.            Proven ability to keep the big picture in mind while driving detailed work.

9.            Be comfortable getting hands-on in technical solutions. Expectations include items such as coding complex components, debugging a problem component of the system, tuning an environment, or writing queries, or generating ad hoc reports.

10.          Be equally comfortable working with management, business SME's and hands on development teams.

11.          Capable of defining and creating a variety of standard IT project deliverables throughout all project lifecycle phases.

12.          10+ years of IT experience and computer science / computer information systems bachelor's degree

13.          In-person interviews will be requested to be paid by the vendor
